J.J. Jackson, a.k.a. Johnathan X. J.J. was the drummer in RIFF RAFF, but went on to do great things anyway. His energy, drive, and sheer volume have never been equaled since those fun and free days in Carbondale, IL, 1980 and ’81. Of course, he lived next to a coffee shop then.
